Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CronPing ("the app," "we," or "us") handles information when you use the iOS application. CronPing is designed to be a local-only utility. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

CronPing does not require an account. We do not collect:

Information Stored On Your Device

CronPing stores the following data locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms:

This data never leaves your device through CronPing. It may be included in your device backups (iCloud or local) if you have backups enabled in iOS Settings. Those backups are managed by Apple under Apple's privacy terms — not by us.

Notifications

CronPing requests permission to send local notifications so that scheduled alarms can fire. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. CronPing does not use push notifications and has no backend that could send remote notifications.

Third-Party Services

CronPing does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests to first-party or third-party servers as part of its core functionality.

Children's Privacy

CronPing is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
